In a thrilling twist, the Yorkshire Beast is shedding its regional roots and embarking on an audacious cross-European adventure. Following the impressive 460-mile perimeter ride around Yorkshire in 2024, the 2025 edition promises to be a heart-pounding, border-hopping spectacle that redefines endurance challenges.

Two Titans, One Herculean Task

On 17 June 2025, as dawn breaks over Leeds Bradford Airport, two determined adventurers will set off on a challenge that blends human tenacity with cutting-edge technology. In one corner stands Martin Mansell, ready to pedal a gruelling 1,080 miles (1738 km) to the sun-drenched shores of Nice, traversing “Col de la Bonette” in the French Alps at a 2,710m altitude (8,907 ft). On the other, Steve Dennis prepares to navigate an electric vehicle through a labyrinth of 20 countries and 3,300 miles (5311 km) of diverse European terrain.
